My name is Zofia, I am 18, and I live in Poland. Upon reaching adulthood, I changed my educational path to new media and started working in a city center café, learning responsibility. Each afternoon, I take driving lessons – I dream of a car to travel from the Baltic Sea to the Tatra Mountains. On weekends, I visit my grandmother in the countryside, helping her digitize old books in her home library. At home with my mother and younger brother, I balance new duties with a need for peace, keeping a journal about who I am becoming. I am considering studying psychology and artificial intelligence to combine human emotions with technology. I don’t look back – every step is my first into adult life, full of unconventional choices and quiet rebellions.
